Why Is Long Hair Important to Native Americans?
Recently I read an article about Native American Indians, and how during the Vietnam War their trackers were recruited by the US military for service because of their uncanny abilities to detect danger. When they got to Vietnam they all claimed that their sixth sense was gone. They noticed that after they were given their GI haircuts, their psychic and other “superhuman” abilities left them.
The US government then conducted a survey on the Native Americans, to try and establish the connection between hair and the sixth sense.
This is what they discovered.
Hair is an extension of the nervous system, it can be correctly seen as exteriorized nerves, a type of highly-evolved 'feeler' or 'antenna' that transmits vast amounts of important information to the brainstem, the limbic system, and the neocortex.
The military conducted tests with some trackers keeping their hair long, and others getting it cut military style.
What they discovered resulted in a document requiring all trackers to keep their hair long.
Cutting of hair is a contributing factor to unawareness of environmental distress in local ecosystems. It is also a contributing factor to insensitivity in relationships of all kinds.
Think about the Bible story of Samson and what happened to him after his haircut.
Our hair is a very valuable commodity and whether we wear it down to our waist or shorter it's important to take great care of it.
Unfortunately the world we live in is very toxic. The air, water and food are all contaminated with chemicals invented and promoted by Big Pharma.
They make the cancer causing chemicals that are added to our food and drinks. Then they profit further from the supposed cures they offer.
This is a little difficult for people to grasp. Because most people would not do that, they find it hard to believe that someone else would.
They also contaminate our health and beauty industry by making "cheap" shampoos, conditioners, skin creams etc. The list goes on. If you go into a drugstore you see endless rows of these products that we use and reuse every day and, unknown to us, loaded with hidden chemicals.
I couldn't find a "better" and more expensive well-known product in the fancy department stores. By this time I knew what to look for on the labels.
We wonder why cancer rates are increasing and there seems to be no known "cure".
To understand the mentality of the people who inflict this suffering on others you first need to study the mind of the sociopath. They lack any kind of human empathy, and think only of ways to benefit themselves. In the field of health and beauty, money rules. The cosmetic industry with all of its related products is a billion dollar industry.
For the past two years I have been researching the pharmaceutical industry. I wanted only the purest health and beauty products on my site. I knew that chemicals have been allowed in our personal care products since the fifties when the companies who make them were given a green light by our government.
Over this last 5 years I have been striving to eliminate all chemicals from my world, diet, toiletries and environment. One of my last remaining chemical dependencies was hair care because I love long hair and was dependent on the shampoo I was using to make it look good.
I tried to get a decent natural shampoo and conditioner but was constantly disappointed. Despite their claims of being “organic”, and totally natural, most still contained industrial detergents and other dangerous chemicals.
I went back to my "cheap" stuff. But my search finally paid off.
I found the hair care products that I use and sell here.
I am proud to have them on my website and proud to offer them to you. It's so important to keep our hair healthy and chemical-free.
